We are very excited that you are interested in being part of the band!

FAQ:

Q: Why do some new members switch instruments?

A: Typically, anyone who switches or learns a new instrument will learn a low woodwind or low brass. These are instruments like the baritone, tuba, or baritone sax. There is a need for lower instruments, because they fill out the band’s sound and help push our scores up at competitions.

Q: What are new members expected to purchase?

A:
ALL Brass and Woodwinds: Marching Shoes, 2 pairs of white gloves, Flip folder and lyre

Percussion Marching Shoes, “Wristies"

Guard: Gloves / shoes TBD by Guard Staff

We will make arrangements for B&B Music to attend a camp date for sizing and purchasing of the appropriate items.

Q: What does it cost to participate in marching band?
